  22.          HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR 15.22 EXECUTIBLES
  23. --------------------------------------------------------
  24.  
  25. In order to use these patch files you need your original
  26. PCBoard Version 15.22 executibles.  
  27.  
  28. Step 1.
  29.  Create a NEW PATCH directory on your system and place
  30.  ALL the contents of this archive in the new directory.
  31.     Example C:\PATCH
  32.  
  33. Step 2.
  34.  Copy your PCBOARD*.EXE files into a TEMPORARY 
  35.  location. NOTE: This can not be the same location as
  36.  your patch files!
  37.     Example C:\PATCH\TEMP
  38.  
  39. Step 3.
  40.  Run PATCH.EXE to update your files.
  41.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP\PCBOARD.EXE PCBOARD.RTP
  42.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP\LOCAL.EXE LOCAL.RTP
  43.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP\PCBOARDM.EXE PCBOARDM.RTP
  44.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP\PCBOARD2.EXE PCBOARD2.RTP
  45.  
  46. Step 4.
  47.  Backup your 15.22 PCBOARD Executibles! Copy the new
  48.  15.23 executibles into your PCBoard directory.
  49.  Note: Your current 15.22 PCBOARD executibles may have
  50.  a READ-ONLY attribute.   You will need to turn this
  51.  OFF to copy the new files over.
  52.         Example: ATTRIB -R *.EXE (to turn off)
  53.                  ATTRIB +R *.EXE (to turn ON)
  54.  
  55. Step 5.
  56.  You're DONE! Congratulations you are now upgraded to 
  57.  PCBoard Version 15.23!
  58.  
  59. If you have any difficulty upgrading your 15.22 PCBoard
  60. to the newer 15.23 software.  You may request the new
  61. executibles directly from the staff on Salt Air.
  62. Simply send them a message stating clearly your problem,
  63. and they will attach the new files to an email message
  64. to you.
